As Jesse McCartney performed his hit song “Beautiful Soul,” a beautiful night began to transpire as the attendees of MKI’s benefit concert began to sing along.Actor Dean Cain did an incredible job hosting the show and live-auction that was held at the Malibu Inn on April 21st. Prior to the performances, Jesse McCartney and Dean Cain joined other well-known teen actors in signing autographs, giving the children and tweenagers the opportunity to get up-close and personal with some of their favorite stars. But the real stars were the thirteen very brave children who just days before had arrived from countries as far as the Philippines and Ecuador to receive medical treatment in Los Angeles. The jet lag wore off pretty quickly however as they took part along with their new friends and families in all the fun activities…cake walk, tattoos, crazy up-do hairdo’s, and silent auction.
It was great to see the Malibu community come out and enjoy a great evening for an organization that they have already given so much support to.
