Be an Office Volunteer!
Office volunteers are those who would like to help with general clerical, administrative and child processing activities. Regular shifts are available 5 days a week from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Temporary or seasonal shifts are also available during regular office hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Become an Intern!
We encourage college students studying nursing, childhood special education, nonprofit management, child life or social work degrees/licenses to apply for an un-paid internship.

Host Your Own Benefit for Mending Kids!
No matter where you live you can help us! Hold a fundraiser benefiting Mending Kids. From lemonade stands to ball room events, no help is too great or too small. Together we can all make a difference... Download event authorization form.

Volunteer on a Medical Mission!
Are you a pediatric surgeon, nurse or technician? If you are interested in volunteering on an upcoming medical mission, email caren@mendingkids.org for details.

Transport A Child
If you are already traveling abroad and would consider taking one of our children back home or bringing a child back to the United States with you, please let us know. Email us at info@mendingkids.org. The cost of the child's ticket and expenses are covered. You covering the cost of your own ticket is your additional contribution to MKI!

Host Family Recognition Picnic
Saturday, September 18 at Ocean Hills Church in San Juan Capistrano. All current and previous Host Families are welcome to a fun afternoon filled with food, games and festivities. This is a true celebration of the great work by our Host Families! Invites going out soon!

Do you Knit?

Newborn AIDS orphans in need of your knitting skills. Make these adorable little sweaters in no time and we will get them to the children who need them! Click here for more information.  Thank you to all of our knitters!  We have sent over 400 sweaters to orphanages in Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Nicaragua, Peru and the Philippines.  

Due to overwhelming need and interest, this program will continue until further notice...so knit away!
