REFER A PATIENT

Thank you for reaching out. Many of our programs began with a single request for help, and we're honored by your trust.

Please note:
We are not currently accepting patient referrals for our international programs. However, we are accepting referrals for our Hometown Mission, which provides free outpatient surgical care to children in Southern California and the United States who are uninsured, underinsured, or have been denied coverage due to their procedure being deemed "elective."

We focus exclusively on outpatient surgeries performed by our volunteer surgical partners. Eligible specialties typically include:

ENT (ear, nose, and throat)
Dental Surgery
Orthopedics
Plastic and reconstructive surgery (e.g., cleft lip/palate, minor burn reconstruction)
General procedures that do not require hospitalization

We do not currently accept referrals for:

Cardiac surgery (for domestic cases)
Organ transplant
Cancer treatment
Any condition that does not require surgery
Inpatient or long-term care needs

To refer a patient for the Hometown Mission, call 1-800-993-5680. Please email [email protected] with:

Patient’s name, age, and location
A clear photo of the child and a photo of the condition (if applicable)
Relevant medical records and a physician’s recommendation for surgery
Documentation showing that insurance has denied the procedure or that the family is underinsured

Once we receive all documentation, please allow 5-10 business days for a response from our team.

If we are unable to assist, we may be able to direct you to another nonprofit that can. Thank you for advocating for these children and for believing in their right to care.
